A seed of chaos,
Yolk from the universe.
He emerges, stretches,
Full of confidence and naivety.

He walks with others,
And he learns from others.
He makes light of all,
And he steals from all.

He declares himself a king,
Challenging the Gods themselves.
The inevitable quickly arrests him,
Yet he stubbornly resists it’s teachings.

Released, both light and dark he accompanies,
Learning of true virtues and wise lessons.
By defending all that is good,
He attains the unattainable.

The story of the Monkey King,
May yet be humanity’s story.
